Reverend Misa

Reverend Misa is the Spiritual Director of the New Dream Foundation. An ordained minister through the Holistic Resources Foundation, she has been offering ceremony for over 12 years and has been a professional teacher and facilitator for over 22 years.  Her first career was in Education and her second as a Business Communications Consultant to Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and non–profit organizations. She is known for her design and implementation of a highly innovative and effective, nationally recognized program for women in prison. She is most proud of New Dream Foundation's current project, Pure Water for the World, bringing clean water purification techniques to developing countries.  

In her spiritual life, Misa has been a life long student of sacred sound, sharing sound medicine study techniques with hundreds of alternative healing practitioners and, for over 10 years, and offering a Song Questing ceremony to individuals drawn to the mystical power of sacred sound.  For several years, Misa apprenticed with a Cherokee elder, studying ceremony and energy healing. She went on to develop an appreciation for the power of ritual in all spiritual traditions. Having studied ceremony across cultures, she created the Spiritual Leadership Training Program for the foundation and enjoys counseling individuals in their unique spiritual journeys.  You can learn more about Misa work and the foundation at www.NewDreamFoundation.com .
