 It is at the SANCTUARY OF THE HEART in the mountains of Alaska where our ministry life and home become one. At the Sanctuary of the Heart, we are building the foundations for a community of teachers and healers. It is here where we are able to integrate the diverse realms of life - from the Faeries to the Angels, the microbes to the mountains, and the waters to the stars - and build a community that is devoted to education and healing.

Our work at the Sanctuary is currently focussed in four directions:

1) Creating and expanding our organic farm and gardens, buildings and community infrastructure.

2) The making of plant-based medicines, including the Balm of Gilead and the distillation of therapeutic quality essential oils.

3) Our touching and healing activities - how and where we share the gifts we have been given to share.

4) Teaching and sharing our knowledge and information - based upon our years of experience in the areas of organic gardening, diet and nutrition, health and healing, and matters of spirit.

1) Creating and expanding our organic farm and gardens, buildings and community infrastructure.

Every spring, we return to the Sanctuary to begin the annual work of growing large numbers of starter plants. We take them to market where we also enjoy our outreach into the community - it's always fun. In this way we are able to share our talents and inspire others to produce high quality foods in their own gardens. We are fortunate in that we live on land that has never been etherically poisoned by violence or war, nor physically by chemicals from farming, cities, or industry. We also practice Bio-Dynamic gardening techniques, supporting our efforts to produce plants of highest nutritional value that are free of any kind of pollutants. Our intention is to sanctify the seeds, earth, and water with sacred breath, coupled with the intention of Bio-dynamics, utilizing the forces of nature as outlined by the Austrian mystic, Rudolph Steiner. This also includes how to make formulations that bring out all of nature's gifts to be used in the co - creative endeavor to build strong bodies of Love that will sustain more Light and help us in these times of Great Change.

In addition to our farm activities, we continue to share the Sanctuary as a private retreat center for the 'Children of God' as a place of inner renewal and sacred discovery. We continue to lay down foundations and build new buildings upon them to better house and serve visitors and longer term community members. It looks as if the farm house and farm field project (commenced 1988) will serve a big function in this capacity in the near future.

2) The making of plant-based medicines, including the Balm of Gilead and the distillation of therapeutic quality essential oils.

We have been interested in personal, social, and global healing for all of our adult lives. Since the early 1980's, we have been working with high quality nutrients and plant based essences to improve our health and healing, and this has led us into our current activities. We have been organic farmers and gardeners since the mid-80's, creators and operators of one of the world's first (and finest) Organic Juice Bars and Raw Food Restaurants (Enzyme Express), and also distillers of plants to make highest quality (frequency) essential oils. We continue to refine our techniques in the growing and gathering, and in the infusing, distilling, and combining of sacred plant essences to be used for the upliftment of humanity. A few of these are mentioned here:

With the springtime buds of the Balsam Poplar tree, we make our BALM OF GILEAD. In the Golden Scripts it says this of the Balm of Gilead: "The Balm of Gilead will be as a panacea to heal the Nations". Our Balm of Gilead takes a year to produce. It is indeed a sacred unguent that helps restore focus, bringing a soothing calmness to those in despair. As a healing balm, many people have told us it has served them well to help heal various maladies of the body and the soul. It has also been used to anoint the dying

Our RADIANT FACE blend uses oils that reflect the beauty from within. It includes precious oils such as Frankincense, Sandalwood, Lavender, Helichrysum, and Rose in a base using our own Balm of Gilead and Organic Jojoba. In addition to the beneficial effect these essences have for the physical aspect of our outer appearance (the skin), the energetic and fragrant influence of Radiant Face blend is to restore and maintain the true inner sense of beauty, and oneness with the God and Goddess principle.

Our blend, MY JOYOUS HEART is very expansive throughout the upper chest and back area. It contains our own distilled oils of Spruce, Ledum, Yarrow, Spearmint and Young Living Ravensara in a base of our Balm of Gilead and Organic Jojoba. On the physical level My Joyous Heart is calming and works to reduce inflammation and pain. On the emotional level, it truly helps to bring joy to the heart. It is very uplifting to the spirit.

The only essential oils we use that we do not distill ourselves are Young Living Therapeutic Grade essential oils as these oils are time tested to be the best available in the world. Each batch of oils bought by Young Living is meticulously tested, assuring their excellence and viability for conditions ranging from deep seated spiritual trauma, to emotional issues, to physical illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease - the list is as long as the list of known diseases! 3) Our touching and healing activities - how and where we share the gifts we have been given to share.

For many many years, our motto has been "If no one reaches out, no one gets touched". We feel we have been blessed with abundance on many levels - especially good health, strong mental and physical energy, and tons of LOVE. We are fortunate to be inspired to share this energy with others in various forms, including 'FootRubs for the Hungry', 4-hand massage, Essential oils massage, Emotional clearing, and our version of the powerful Raindrop Technique. Again, we use the oils and essences we create at the Sanctuary of the Heart, and those offered by YLEO.

While during the summer months in Alaska we focus most of our energy on our farm and building activities, in the winter months we are able to focus so much more on touching others with the essences and offering our hands to help them be well and heal. As our life in Alaska is remote and our home is 'off the grid', we choose to travel south in the winters, so we can both expand our network and touch more people. These past few years we have been especially drawn to Bali, Indonesia, especially to the sweetness and inner beauty we find in the handicapped people on that small tropical island. We are touched inside with the Love and happiness we find on Bali and if it weren't for the excessive equatorial heat and humidity, we would probably spend every winter there.

4) Teaching and sharing our knowledge and information - based upon our years of experience in the areas of organic gardening, diet and nutrition, health and healing, and matters of spirit.

A big step in our teaching and sharing was the release of Rev. Trish's book Awakening Your Divine Child on 3-03-2010. Book signings and "transmissions" have been a big expression in getting this work to the people who want and need it. We have also received phone calls from people who are dealing with cancer and have re-discovered their own faith through this work. I am in humble gratitude for the experience to bring this simple but profoundly empowering information forward.

We currently teach and share and offer information in the form of classes, work shops, and one on one meetings with others. We are in the process of creating a school with a curriculum including Life Sciences and Healthy Living, providing important education in many realms from matter to spirit. Some of the pertinent and important topics include diet and nutrition, exercise, healing with essential oils, creating high potency foods in your own garden, becoming self-reliant in all domains (food, energy, medicine, livelihood, etc.), greening your home and personal environment, emotional healing, with the goal of becoming a person committed to expressing and sharing PEACE and LOVE through joyful service to others.

The Sanctuary of the Heart is a place of inner renewal and sacred discovery. It is in this place that "The loving kindness of God is in support of the Messianic forces". It is here, in this place, that we are all supported to experience our own Divinity! This precious gift has been bestowed on us and we extend it to all who are ready for the personal experience of splendor and majesty which are our God - given birthrights!
